De EUDEC conferentie is een jaarlijkse conferentie over democratisch onderwijs in Europa. Boeiende sprekers, leerkrachten, facilitators en (oud-)studenten van democratische scholen komen van over heel Europa en daarbuiten om te spreken over zelfsturend onderwijs.
Bovendien kan je niet enkel info vergaren over democratisch onderwijs, je wordt ook echt in de sfeer ondergedompeld. Zo zijn kinderen en jongeren ook van harte welkom op de conferentie. En is iedereen vrij om zelf te kiezen wat ze doen, deelnemen aan workshop, lezing of fun-activiteit, misschien zelf een workshop initiëren, een boeiend gesprek, of nog iets anders. De EUDEC conferentie is dus een week vol inspiratie, inzichten, boeiende ontmoetingen, plezier en ontspanning.
Ben je een leerkracht, een ouder of gewoon geïnteresseerd, iedereen is welkom. Bovendien kan je komen met heel het gezin.
Zelfsturend leren en democratisch onderwijs een krachtige, levensverrijkende keuze is voor kinderen en jongeren.
Samen met een enthousiaste groep mensen en organisaties brengen we EUDEC naar België. Ons team bestaat uit facilitators in democratische scholen, leerkrachten uit reguliere scholen die verandering willen en inspirerende mensen die democratisch onderwijs ondersteunen. Mensen van Vlaanderen, Brussel en Wallonië. Trots ondersteund door Orvita, Quest en Les Herbes Hautes, CollectiveUp en anderen.

The EUDEC conference is an annual conference on democratic education in Europe. Inspiring speakers, teachers, facilitators and (former) students from democratic schools come from all over Europe and beyond to speak about self-directed education.
Moreover, you can not only gather information about democratic education, you are also really immersed in the atmosphere. Children and young people are also very welcome at the conference. And everyone is free to choose what they do, participate in a workshop, lecture or fun activity, perhaps initiate a workshop themselves, have a fascinating conversation, or something else. The EUDEC conference is therefore a week full of inspiration, insights, fascinating encounters, fun and relaxation.

Together with an enthusiastic group of people and organizations, we are bringing EUDEC to Belgium. Our team consists of facilitators in democratic schools, teachers from regular schools who want change and inspiring people who support democratic education.
